Prevention is Better than the Cure
"Prevention is better than the cure" is a term that has been used in green keeping for a number of years and is key to the the treatment of your lawn and it is essential that it is carried out correctly and well with the right machinery , products and at the right time of the year or the right climate, this would in turn would help produce alot stronger , denser and healthier sward, which is also more cost effective then Re Turfing or Re seeding the whole area.
Typical Spring Renovation
1.
Scarification: Needs to be scalped with a heavy mow a week before anticipated Scarify, this is to weaken the sward to loosen damaged roots for easier more clinical removal. Then Scarify removing as much Thatch as possible clearing as you go.

Spiking: This will penetrate the surface alot deeper than scarification helping with drainage and pushing the fertiliser deeper into the root system which in turn will help give new seedlings room to germinate.

Over seed: After the scarification and spiking comes the over seed , pick the correct seed mix to soil conditions and climate to obtain the best results.
4.
Fertiliser Application: We will then apply the necessary fertiliser application to help germinate new seed and also promote and help growth in the grasses that are already in the sward making them stronger and healthier.

A added operation of a deeper aeration in this case a spiking :-

Gold Package
Gold package again is a more comprehensive package than silver :-
- Early fertilise application Nano vigour to help strengthen the good grass.

- Pre germination fertiliser applied
- 7 - 10 days later Nano Charge liquid feed
- 2 weeks after that Nano Vigour liquid feed after that.
